Sora Ichikawa (May 7, 1998 - )

is a Japanese jazz pianist, composer, singer-songwriter.

He began learning classical piano at the age of 4. At 14, he was deeply impressed by ragtime piano, which inspired him to pursue jazz music.

​

In 2017, he entered Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. He graduated at the top of his class from the jazz course at the same college in 2021. In May 2023, he released his first album, "Genseki!!!!!!" digitally. Later that year, in August, he participated in the Seiko Summer Jazz Camp and won the Best Arrange & Composition Award. In May 2024, the physical CD version of his first album was released. He is active not only in jazz but also in genres such as pop, R&B, and contemporary music. In addition to performing, he also produces music and composes tracks using DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations).

He plays piano and keyboards in various bands, including "Yasukagawa Daiki New Trio", "Reiya The P.A.V.E.", "InoSide", and "Guruw."

4歳からクラシックピアノを習う。
14歳の時にラグタイムピアノを聴いて衝撃を受け、以降ジャズを志す。

​

2017年に洗足学園音楽大学に入学。
2021年に洗足学園音楽大学のジャズコースを首席で卒業。
2023年5月に1st Album「原石！！！！！！」を配信リリース。
同年8月、Seiko Summer Jazz Campに参加しBest Arrange & Composition Awardを受賞。
2024年5月に1st Album「原石！！！！！！」CD販売開始。

ジャズのみならず、ポップス、R&B、現代音楽などのジャンルでも活動しており、演奏のみならずDAWによる音源制作及び楽曲提供も行っている。
好きな食べ物はカレー、味噌ラーメン、好きな飲み物はチャイ、ココア。

「安ヵ川大樹ニュートリオ」「Reiya The P.A.V.E.」「イノサイド」「Guruw」などのバンドにてピアノ、キーボードを担当。
